This product is a complete waste of money! I'd have gotten better results just putting the money on the floor and letting the dogs piss on that! Neither one of my dogs would use it. They are trained to use puppy pads when nobody is home or available to let them out. They use the pads, but this useless piece of trash they wouldn't use at all. Don't waste your money on it!

My dog is 4 years old and has been trained on pee pads since I got her. I recently got her potty patch and she refuses to use it. She goes right next to it. I even bought the spray that's supposed to attract dogs to pee on it, but it still doesn't work. I don't know what to do - I'm so frustrated. Any suggestions please!

In referance to Mathews comment, That was a rude statement that the dog isn't getting enough to eat and that is why he chews on the potty patch. Puppies as well as some adult dogs chew on things which has nothing to do with being under fed but with bordem, attention, are not having enough toys that will allow them to do what most dogs do and that is Chew on things and thats why they have toys for them to naw and chew on.
I for one would have been insulted if I was accused of letting my animal go hungry.

@jessie
I clean my "fake grass" on my potty patch atleast once a week. I just take it outside and spray it off with the hose. If you wait a month yes it would start to stink, just like anything else if you don't take care of it.

how do you clean it (the fake grass)? i've been looking for reviews and the majority have complaints about the stink and difficulty getting it clean. i think i've seen one in one of those "as seen on tv" stores and the grass looked so fake- nothing like the tv ads portray it took look.

I have two Potty Patches and my dogs took to using them immediately this winter. Now the two down sides: is you have to clean them well, atleast once a month or your house will start smelling like a urine factory; also I have had to retrain one dog "its okay to poop outside again". I will definately enjoy having them on rainy days and bad winter days in the future. Plus my husband and I don't have to rush home to take dogs out anymore because they got the Potty Patch!!
The easist way to train the dog....is when they go potty ouside or have accident inside wipe up with paper towel. Then place soiled paper towel under the grate of potty patch and keep it their a few days. It was that easy for me. I recommend to use pee-wee pads too and it makes clean up much easier.

A potty patch sounds too good to be true. Your dog will love this thing. I put mine next the door, and when I'm not home, my dog uses it. I just come home, take it outside rinse it, and put it back. The Potty Patch works!!

@Roxanne I would recommend looking at the sales recipe you should have printed off after you ordered it. It should have a number to call.

Some dogs are more trouble than others, especially as puppies my AHT did try to chew on it ,she got in trouble a few times.I moved it to the garage so she couldn't get to it unless I let her.I have tried the pee pads between the 2nd and 3rd layer(Worked fine)I am now using the top and 2nd layer over clumping cat litter in a low sided(under the bed) container,works well.The Tv Showcase store sells them in most malls.

What a great product, this product has saved my carpets. Took my dog about two weeks to make her go on it, but now that is the only place she goes. In this cold weather, I'm so happy I don't have to take her outside to go!! Thanks Kim

@Matthew, I would suggest feeding your dog more, if your dog is that hungry, something is wrong with him. :) My dog loves his potty patch.
