DON'T BUY THESE PANS!!!!!!!!! I spoke to an Orgreenic representative whom told me I could purchase a full set of these pans for 6 monthly payments of $49.99 to which I agreed, then they went and charged me the full $240. I called them and asked them why and they tried to play it off as a mistake and said they would refund all but the first payment in 6-8 weeks. I told them I needed the money back sooner than that because all my bills were going to bounce. The representative became ignorant and told me she didn't care. It has been past the 6-8 weeks since I spoke to them and they still have not refunded the money like they said. These pans are NOT worth the money or the trouble. I tried them out and followed the instructions to the T and they stick worse than my other pans that have no non- stick treatment. This purchase is the worst thing I've ever bought and the customer service is rude and unreliable.

their site mentions that theres no PFOA chemical in their product but it doesnt say anything about PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).
This chemical helps create the water-repellent surface that makes nonstick coatings so slick. The problem here is that when pans are heated to over 500 degrees, PTFE can be released as a toxic fume that's deadly to birds and can induce flu-like symptoms in humans. For this reason, experts say you should not use nonstick cookware on anything higher than medium heat, and you should be careful not to let an empty pan sit over a flame. You should also crack a window or turn on your exhaust fan when using nonstick cookware.

this above site is awesome in educating about non-stick chemical free cookware. it seems that EarthPan is the most favorable cookware. It doesnt contain these 2 harmful chems. it has aluminum baked into the outer structure for even heat distribution. the only complaint from reviews seems to be that the non-stick coating doesnt always last so long. i guess we cant get it all.
hope this helps

I absolutely love my OrGreenic frying pan. I use it for about everything. I usually do use about a half teaspoon of butter for taste when frying, but have also tried it without any fat and still have the great nonstick feature.
I did follow the directions with the new pan and seasoned it like directed before I used it. Sometimes you do need to follow the directions, and many people don't read them at all!!
I have never had to scrub at all, even when I was sick and left the dishes sitting dirty for 2 days!
The even heat distribution while cooking with this heavy pan is great--no hot spots.
I will be buying more pans, and also giving some as gifts. These are great.

I only had it for a few months and already having problems. I still have to use oil and grease to prevent the food from sticking to the pans. The pans do chip and peel, some came that way. I still have to scrub and sometimes soak the pans to get the food off.
The grill pan does not sit flat on the stove so it does not cook evenly. We had it replace and we still had the same problem.
At first, the pans meet the expectations as described but after a few times of use, the quality went way down. I even wash them by hand and I am still having problems with the quality of these pans.
I purchased the Orgreenic cookware about 4 months ago and wish I could return them now. However, it is past the 30 days money back guarantee. I choose the installment payment option and I am still paying for cookware that I don't like.
I do not know how long these pans are going to last but I am sure that it want be for a lifetime. I see myself paying more cookware in the near future, but never again Orgreenic cookware.
By the way, their customer service is poor. We had to exchange some of the pans and lids because they were damaged during shipment, took about 4weeks just for them to send us replacements.

I have not used my new OrGreenic cookware as yet. I didn't realize it was a coated anodized aluminum. I may return it if I can't find test results that show no leaching of the aluminum into the food. You would think the ceramic would prevent that but production controls outside of the USA are lacking.
