Jupiter Jack So the other night I was sitting there watching TV and a new As Seen on TV product came on. It was the Jupiter Jack - a hands free device that connected your cell phone to your car audio system.
So after searching the Internet I found the official Jupiter Jack website, it says it would fit practically any cell phone (bonus) and all you had to do was connect it and tune your radio to 88.7 FM.
So I decided to order one for myself, and it came with a free one that I could give a friend or use as a backup.
About a week later I received my Jupiter Jack, my first thought was well lets test this little device out. We were heading to my parents house that night, so what a great opportunity to try it out.
First thing I noticed was the range of this little device is not that great. If I laid it in the pop holder in the center console of my truck you would have static while talking.
So now the problem is where should I put it so that it gets good reception and it allows the other person to hear me just fine. I tried laying on the dashboard, but it moved when ever I turned or stepped on the gas.
I ended up going to radio shack and buying a mount for my cell phone. I noticed now if you order a Jupiter Jack, it now comes with a cellphone mount. I guess they also figured this out.
I would recommend buying a Jupiter Jack if you state doesn't allow you to talk on your phone while driving. I would rather use a Jupiter Jack over a hands free device attached to my ear. The inventor has come up with a great device.

I received my Jack last week and I love it!! I am one of those people who can’t drive and do anything else at the same time, lol. I have had quite a few accidents, but now I feel like I can talk with only moderately diminished driving ability. I am like most all drivers as I need to talk to everyone while I drive and get the latest gossip, news and trivial updates of other peoples lives. Now I drive just so I can receive calls and look like a dork talking to my dashboard, lol

How could a $10 Christmas gift that doesn't work ruin someone's mom's holiday? How shallow is his mother? Does religion play into the equation at all?

The only problem I had is you have to remain tuned to the radio station (101.3 for mine). I plugged mine into my cell phone, was listening to the radio, and had a few missed calls. I then turned it off (still plugged in) and the same thing. So now, when I get a call, I have to attach the jack to my cell, turn it on, then tune the radio station. I drive a stick shift so a hands free system is what I need. All in all, the sound quality if OK; I guess for $10.00 I got what I paid for.

What is a pop holder?"
Are you serious? A pop holder is that place you put your head so it can get a good pop on it for being stupid enough not to know what a pop holder is. Pop is short for soda pop. A holder is a device you place something into for protection and/or to keep it in place. It could also be called a cup holder, coffee holder, etc. I can't believe someone needed that explained.. lol
