About two months ago I saw an ad for Bumpits on television. I thought to myself why would anyone buy that when you can just back comb your hair. Well after about a week of consistently back combing my hair it started to show some signs of serious breakage, so i decided to give up my puffy hairstyle for a while.

From then on I would wear my hair back in a clip or a ponytail of some sorts until about a week ago. One of my best friends Ashlee bought me a set of the Bumpits for my birthday. She put one in my hair to show me how to do it. She put one of the bigger pieces of the Bumpit set right at my crown, then she teased the hair the would lay over a little. She secured the Bumpit piece in my hair by gently pushing it back and forth a few times, then she put the teased hair over the top of the Bumpit, threw some hairspray(any kind with hold will work)and then pinned some of my hair back. Easy right.

I looked like I got a new haircut. I can honestly say that I never leave my house without a Bumpit. I like to use the mini Bumpit pieces for my bangs. You can wear your hair in virtually any style you like or with almost any length.
However, I would not recommend the Bumpits set to anyone who has really short hair. When someone has really short hair and uses a Bumpit piece it is very easy to see and very hard to secure.

The Bumpits themselves as a whole are awesome, I would tell everyone who buys the Bumpits to get them close to the color of their hair or a shade lighter. My friend got me a shade light because in the summer my hair get really light. The only downfall I can see is that you can't ever do strenuous work or a lot of exercise while wearing a Bumpit piece because it will get loose or could even fall out without reapplying more hairspray.

To sum it all up, if you want great hairstyles without all of the strain and hassle the Bumpits is the right choice for you.
