Adhesive tapes are the wonderful household items that solve a number of purposes. If you think carefully, there are many daily chores in which an adhesive tap assists you. However, there are many other uses of these tapes that are not known to their users. Here are some unusual and some unusual and interesting ways of making use of an adhesive tape.

Fixing Different Materials

The most common use of an adhesive tape is to fix things made of materials like glass and plastic. You can simply apply the tape to broken window panes and cracked plastic toys to make them usable again.

Joining Materials

Another use of adhesive tapes is to act as a joint between two pieces. For example, electrical tapes are used for cable and wire joining and for electric insulation as well. This provides protection to children who might accidentally touch the naked wire joint. A tape can also be used to join pieces of papers and fabrics together.

Packaging Tapes

An adhesive tape is the perfect item to pack gifts at home. You can also use packaging tapes to seal the packing boxes while shifting your home. When you don't use an electronic appliance for few days, you may pack it into a box and seal it with a packaging tape to avoid dust and moisture attack.

Decoration Tapes

An adhesive tape can be used for decoration purposes. Children use them for making crafts and bordering charts and greeting cards. You may also use them to create colorful names and slogans on a piece of paper. Containers can also be labeled using colorful tapes.

Some Interesting Uses

Industrial tapes can be applied around the tennis racquet's handle to obtain a better grip on the handle.
If you have pets at home, you may use an adhesive tape to remove the hair shed by them on the sofas and carpets.
An adhesive tape may also be used to remove dust from the corners.

An interesting use of adhesive tape is to mark the playing areas for hopscotch or other similar games. They can also be used to mark the parking area in the garage so that you accurately park the car. A tape applied to the feet of the chair to prevent them from causing scratches on floor when dragged.

As you can see, adhesive tapes are usable in a number of ways at homes and offices as well. If you have never used them for some of these purposes, you must start making best out of them.
