Magic Jack >> Get a Magic Jack Phone - Save Money
I was in Walmart the other day and noticed the "Magic Jack" for sale. I have been spending lots of time overseas lately (Mostly in India), and I was having a terrible time with the local telephone service there. The phone numbers are extra long and complicated, and connections are pretty spotty to say the least. Having seen the Magic Jack on TV I decided to buy Magic Jack and give it a try. Here is my Magic Jack review. The Magic Jack PackageThe Magic Jack device is pretty simple. It comes with a USB device with a small (approximately 2″x1″x1/2″) plastic box. The box is lightweight, and a circuit board is visible inside the box. It has led lights showing its connected. There is a port for a phone jack on the device. Magic Jack InstallationWell, installation went about as easy as installations can go. I plugged the Magic Jack into the usb port. My Windows Vista laptop automatically installed some driver software, and then Magic Jack also installed an application. The application was updated automatically through the internet to the latest version. It appears that the Magic Jack is a flash drive with software loaded on it. Since I wanted a phone number, I filled out a short registration on the Magic Jack website, and received a US phone number free of charge. Having a US phone number is critical so my family can call me overseas without paying overseas toll charges. Once I plugged in a low cost land line phone, I had a dial-tone on the Magic Jack and could dial out. Try Magic-Jack Rick Free for 30 Days Magic Jack Review – Overall OpinionI am now officially a Magic Jack convert. The price is unbeatable, and their sytem works. It it perfect for everyone? Probably not. It worked well with cable and DSL, but I doubt dial-up users will be happy with Magic Jack. It worked better with a real telephone, and I suggest at least a headset with a good microphone. Magic Jack Review – The BadThe only bad think I have to say about Magic Jack is that I could have got Magic Jack even cheaper! If you click the banner below, you can try Magic Jack for free, for 30 days. If your not happy, return it, no questions asked. Otherwise, in 30 days you will be charged $39.95 (cheaper than Wallmart) for the device and first years service. Give it a try, I was suprised, I think you will be too. ![]() Visit the Magic Jack Website
